DAVID COLEMAN MP VISITS CASS SENIORS GROUP FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS
David Coleman, Federal Member for Banks, yesterday visited the Chinese Australian Services Society (CASS) Aged Day Care Centre at Peakhurst to help the Seniors Group celebrate the Chinese New Year.
“It was good to visit the CASS Seniors Group. I have visited the group several times, and I was pleased to be able to celebrate the Chinese New Year with them. Celebrating the Chinese New Year is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the company of friends and family.”
“CASS is an important group in our community, offering a broad range of social support including Aged Care services, community classes, and programs for children and families.”
During his visit, Mr Coleman had the opportunity to speak with members of the seniors group, and join them for Mah-jong.
Mr Coleman was joined by the Founding Chairman of CASS, Mr Henry Pan and Vice Chair Tony Pang, as well as other members of the committee.
“I would like to thank the CASS Seniors Group for welcoming me to their Chinese New Year celebrations. I’d also like to acknowledge the hard work of CASS staff and volunteers. I look forward to visiting CASS centres again in the future.”
