Panania RSL Soccer Club – also known as Panania Diggers - is set to receive $200, 000 from a re-elected Coalition Government to fund upgrades at Kelso Park South in Panania.

Panania Diggers intend on using the funding to upgrade and extend the change rooms and storage facilities at their home ground at Kelso Park South.

David Coleman, the Federal Member for Banks, has welcomed this funding commitment, acknowledging that upgrades are well and truly due.

“These funds have been needed for some time now,” Mr Coleman said. “I am pleased to have been able to secure this commitment and look forward to seeing the project take shape in the future.”

President of Panania Diggers, Mr Bob Bell, said the Club is looking forward to upgrading its facilities.

“We are very grateful for this commitment by the Government,” Mr Bell said. “It is important that local sporting facilities are up to standard for local athletes and their families.”
