On Monday 28 August, Mr Coleman hosted a Forum with female student leaders from across the electorate at Georges River College Peakhurst.
The Minister for Defence, Marise Payne, spoke with students about her experience as a female leader in the Federal Government.
“It was good to have Minister Payne join us for the forum,” Mr Coleman said. “It is important that young women are able to speak to strong role models as they plan their careers.”
Students from Georges River College Penshurst and Peakhurst, Marist College Penshurst and Beverly Hills Girls High asked the Minister about her career path and lessons she has learned along the way.
“Thank you to the students and teachers who attended the forum,” Mr Coleman said. “I’m pleased that Minister Payne was able to share her experiences with the students.”
