David Coleman MP has welcomed funding for repairs to Boundary Road announced under the Federal Government’s Roads to Recovery Program within the 2018 Budget.
$180,000 of Federal funding has been provided to repair the road surface along Boundary Road, between Pitt Street and Hurstville Road.
“It’s great that funding has allowed this work to happen,” Mr Coleman said. “Repairs to this section of road have been badly needed for some time.”
The Roads to Recovery Program is a nation-wide initiative, which provides funding for local governments to maintain and upgrade their local roads.
“It’s especially important that the road surface along this section of Boundary Road stays in good condition because of its proximity to the Jubilee Community Centre, and the fact that Boundary Road is a major thoroughfare between Mortdale and Oatley for local residents,” Mr Coleman said.
