Edgbaston Reserve in Beverly Hills is set to undergo a major redevelopment thanks to a $450,000 grant from the Federal Government.
David Coleman MP, Federal Member for Banks, announced that the Federal Government would provide funding for the project in order to improve the facilities at the reserve for local residents.
Work will begin on the project in the coming months and will include the construction of a new inclusive playground, BBQ facilities and seating, and improvements to accessibility and other amenities.
“I am very pleased to have supported this project to modernise the playground and improve the accessibility of Edgbaston Reserve for local families,” Mr Coleman said.
“Edgbaston Reserve is a large public space with lots of potential. I look forward to seeing this project completed for the benefit of local residents.”
Work on the project is expected to be completed this year.
