OUTDOOR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT TO BE INSTALLED AT REVESBY SOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOL

David Coleman MP has welcomed the award of a Federal Grant to Revesby South Public School. Funding has been awarded funding under the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Grants Program.

The Grant matches funds raised by the hardworking P&C and will be used for the installation of outdoor exercise equipment. The Federal Government has committed $11,500 towards this important project.

“Revesby South Public School is fortunate to have such an active and engaged P&C,” Mr Coleman said.

This project will install a series of fixed exercise structures. The equipment will be utilised by Revesby South students as well as other students who attend the YMCA’s out of hours school care. Other groups such as Rhee International Taekwondo, Dance Ink Dance School and a number of local sporting teams who utilise the school grounds will also benefit from these facilities.

“The outdoor exercise equipment is a valuable addition to the school,” Mr Coleman said. ”I am pleased that we have been able to secure Federal funding to support the project which will benefit many local groups as well as students at Revesby South Public School.”
