PENSHURST TRAINEE WINS 2018 BANKS APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR

David Coleman has announced that Philip Lotorto, from RVL Electrical and Plumbing in Penshurst, is this year’s winner of the Banks Apprentice of the Year Awards. Philip is currently in his second year of his electrical and plumbing apprenticeship at Gymea TAFE.

The award was started in 2014 by Mr Coleman to acknowledge the outstanding work of apprentices and trainees in our community.

“Apprentices and trainees contribute so much to our local economy and community,” Mr Coleman said. “This award recognises that contribution and encourages students to further their involvement within industry.”

“Philip’s application really stood out due to his dedication towards his work and studies,” Mr Coleman said. “It was good to be able to present him with his much-deserved award.”
