The Weston Street rail corridor at Panania has been selected as the preferred location for a new car park at Panania. The car park will be fully funded by the Australian Government.
The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications is currently working with the NSW Government to finalise plans for the new carpark.
“Lack of parking has been an issue in Panania for many years, and this new car park will help to address that problem,” David Coleman MP, Federal Member for Banks said. “It’s important that there is enough parking in Panania to meet the high level of demand.”
“This investment will not only deliver benefits for local residents, it will also generate jobs in a range of fields including engineering and construction.”
It is expected that plans for the new car park will be finalised later this year.
