The State Government has recently released a Rezoning Plan that proposes new rules for where different kinds of housing can be built.
In Allawah, these changes would mean:
• Duplexes could be built in all locations which currently have freestanding houses
• Apartments of up to 6 stories could be built within 400 metres of Allawah station
• Apartments of up to 4 stories could be built within 800 metres of Allawah station
