On Thursday 21 November, David Coleman, the Federal Member for Banks, hosted a Roundtable for community organisations with the Minister for the NDIS, the Hon. Stuart Robert MP.
“The rollout of the NDIS is an important issue in our community with many families benefiting from the program,” Mr Coleman said.
“It’s important that local organisations have the opportunity to discuss key issues with the Minister.”
“The organisations that were at the event represent hundreds of local families who are involved in the NDIS.”
“It was good to have a discussion about the program and opportunities for improvements.”
“Today’s roundtable was an outstanding opportunity to hear from people at the coalface of the of the world-leading NDIS, I thank everyone involved for their contributions and insights I will take this input on board as we deliver the final 20% of the scheme,” Mr Robert said.
Representatives from local community organisations attended including 3Bridges Community, Advanced Diversity Services, Kingsgrove Community Centre, Kogarah Community Services, Riverwood Community Centre, St George Community Transport and Jubilee Community Services.
The Roundtable was hosted by 3Bridges Penshurst.
